How to unlock the Martyr Logarius trophy

  Martyr Logarius is the boss of the hidden Cainhurst area of the game (see the "Cainhurst" trophy to see how to get there). This is one of the toughest areas in the game, so do not attempt this until you are quite high level.
  
  This boss has a long scythe and also frequently casts very dangerous spells. He moves quickly, so you will have to be cautious with your attacks. Use the quick one-handed version of your weapon, and do not try to get more than 2 or 3 hits in at once. Try to stay behind him at all times, as this will avoid his deadly frontal explosion spell.
  
  Once he gets down to about half health, he will sometimes place a sword in the ground. As long as that sword exists, swords will home in on your from the sky, making your life miserable. Simply attack the sword in the ground once to destroy it and stop this from happening. Then continue with Logarius as you had been before. See the following video guide:

  First things first, you should have the "Blood Rapture" Caryll Rune equipped (dropped by The Shadow of Yarnham). Adds HP + 200 per Visceral Attack.
  
  -Start of the fight you're only going in for 2 or 3 pokes before rolling away. Playing it slow and steady. About half way through his health bar he starts charging up, ending in an explosion. During that big charge, get up behind him and get in your first Visceral attack, interrupting his charge.
  
  -The rest of the fight he is coming in hot with melee attacks. You should now be parrying him whenever possible. This is where the "Blood Rapture" Rune helps a lot. Basically acts like an automatic Blood Vial per Visceral attack. Saves you vials and healing time.
  
  -Lastly is the sword that he plunges into the ground, summoning blades from the sky. I find, if you have the Quick Silver to spare, just locking in on the blade from a distance and shooting it. One shot destroys it. It beats running across the arena getting pelted by blades and possibly being attacked by Logarius.
  
  -I beat him at level 66, just before attempting "The One Reborn". Hope this helps. The other guides on here just seemed to be missing a couple things.

  Martyr Logarius - Defeat Martyr Logarius.
  
  This boss and trophy are fairly annoying to unlock, the best way to deal damage to him is parrying. Most of his attacks you will be running around and using the environment to block the attacks. When he plants a sword in the ground quickly run up to it and destroy it.
  
  In no time you will have defeated the boss your trophy should pop! Enjoy!
