The first time I saw an opportunity to do this was in chapter 2 during the mission first assignment. During the fight with the final enemy at the end of the mission there is a fuel tank by one of their feet. I just tried to attack it when a soldier was close by and kill the soldier with the explosion. Below is a quick video showing this.
