Get ready to throw your GOTY 2023 vote into the ring in the annual TrueTrophies tournament as the community seeks to find the greatest of the latest PS5 and PS4 games released. In Round 13, we'll find out if your loyalties lie to those Final Fantasy XVI trophies or whether you rate your freshly deciphered Chants of Sennaar trophies.

Game of the Year (Round 13) — Final Fantasy XVI vs Chants of Sennaar

Round 13 sees Final Fantasy XVI and Chants of Sennaar locked in a heady battle. Both games are absolutely crammed with nonsense words you have to decipher, although admittedly in Chants of Sennaar that's actually the point of the game, whereas FFXVI just has that much lore crammed in.

Check out my Final Fantasy XVI review if you need an introduction to that game, and as for Chants of Sennaar — well, just check out any second article written by TT Editor Kes, he adores it.

We're currently in the Round of 32 of the TrueTrophies Game of the Year Tournament. The winner from Round 13 will face the winner from Round 14 in the Final 16, which could be Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon or Humanity. From there, the winner progresses to the Quarter Finals, followed by the Semi-Final, and then the Grand Final.
