It's time to cast your GOTY 2023 vote in the annual TrueTrophies tournament as the community seeks to find the greatest of the latest PS5 and PS4 games released. In Round 1, we'll be seeing if the hundred hours collecting Baldur's Gate 3 trophies can compete against the players' time spent gathering Dredge trophies from the bottom of the seas.

Game of the Year (Round 1) — Baldur's Gate 3 vs Dredge

It's a big start in our GOTY tournament as the highest-seeded game has come up against our lowest-seeded game of 2023. The result is that huge RPG hit Baldur's Gate 3 is taking on indie title Dredge. I feel like everyone knows what's up with Baldur's Gate 3, so I'm just going to let you know that Dredge is a superb little indie fishing game on PS5 and PS4. Mix in some strange creatures in the water and some great art direction, and we really hope that this battle — at the very least — makes you aware of how cool Dredge is!

We're currently in the Round of 32 of the TrueTrophies Game of the Year Tournament. The winner from Round 1 will face the winner from Round 2 in the Final 16, which could be Persona 5 Tactica or Like a Dragon Ishin. From there, the winner progresses to the Quarter Finals, followed by the Semi-Final, and then the Grand Final.
