This week sees the release of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition. This pack brings together GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas under one roof, featuring quality of life updates like modern controls. Will you be buying it?

So, what does this new trilogy bring to the table in 2021? Well, it has updated all the textures of the world, as well as the character models. The car models are now much more cmplex boxes with wheels. The controls will probably have the biggest impact on your time with these three. GTA V controls also replace the clunky and unintuitive controls of the games as they existed previously.

However, the price was a sticking point for many, with near-full price kicking up some internet fuss. Likewise, Reddit was full of videos showing some not-so-great animation work, though, in fairness, that was an upgrade not promised. A few strange looking characters have been spotted as well.
