Poll - What is your most anticipated upcoming game for July?

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Hello there! Our poll for this week asks a vital, but simple question. What is your most anticipated game for July 2021? At the end of the page is the poll, but first, here is what's coming. Warning: these aren't all of the games coming this month, just some curated highlights!

A Plague Tale: Innocence will release with a PS5 upgrade on July 6th. The harrowing tale of a brother and sister during the 100 years war, Senior Writer Sean says this game is superb. On PS5, the game is getting haptics and prettier graphics, even though the art direction was already a huge standout!

Sniper Elite VR is coming on July 8th. You will be shooting your way through enemies totally immersed in the murder of it all. The calm, technical approach to bagging a headshot has always been an admirable part of this series, so hopefully, a VR edition only emphasises that aspect. The closer encounters are where we have concerns, but we live in hope!

F1 2021 is coming for PS4 and PS5 on July 16th. The big features this year are on- and off-track drama in the three-season career mode, a multiplayer career mode (together in co-op, or as rivals), new driver seats that are updated as you progress, and better presentation. To be honest, it looks like another banger and right up the alley of all those F1 fans!

The indie game Last Stop is getting a dual PS4 and PS5 release on July 22nd. The game is set in London and you play using a selection of different characters who have had strange powers creeping into their lives. It all looks very Life is Strange!

Samurai Warriors 5 is launching on PS4 on July 27th. The Sengoku era is the stage for this combat-heavy franchise that places you in the shoes of the most skilled samurai who have ever swung their swords, unleashing fire and brimstone... wait, what? The art style of this long-running series is on point, as is the cringy dialogue.

Tribes of Midgard is out on PS4 and PS5 on July 27th. This base-building Viking-era game looks gorgeous in the gameplay trailer. You will build a warrior to defend against baddies in the night that are signalling Ragnarok, the end of all things. You can roam as a lone warrior or go a Viking with a squad. Procedurally generated worlds are a bit of a holdout, they could either create unique worlds or repetitive biomes. However, we are excited about this one at TT!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is coming to PS4 on July 27th. These games are dope. Courtroom antics and anime-gravitas for days, we are simply delighted this collection is coming to PlayStation. The only negative? No Vita edition... sigh.
