Until Dawn reveals a slightly different PS5 platinum trophy to earn

The Until Dawn PS5 platinum trophy has been revealed. It's time to revisit this classic horror title and see if you can survive the horrifying events.

We have just picked up the Until Dawn trophies which will come to PlayStation on Friday, October 4, 2024. So, now that the Until Dawn PS5 platinum trophy has been revealed, we can figure out if those old walkthroughs will help us earn all of the trophies in what is set to be one of the best horror games on PS5.

Until Dawn tells the story of eight friends who meet back up after years apart for a reunion, hoping to make amends for a horrible prank that resulted in the loss of two lives. However, what unfolds is a night of sheer terror for the group who must fight for their lives if they have any hope of making it out alive. Every decision made creates a butterfly effect that can alter the trajectory of the story. So, make sure you keep your wits about you.

Including the platinum trophy, there are 29 trophies, 16 of which are hidden. There are some familiar trophies amongst the PS5 Until Dawn trophy list as well as a bunch of fresh trophies to boot. The ones we've all earned before include cutting off Mike's finger with the machete, having everyone survive, having everyone die, hitting the psycho with a weapon, opening the trap door, and a few other recognizable trophies.

However, this time around we also have a bunch more miscellaneous tasks we will need to accomplish, like getting Emily to slap Ashley, attempting to alter the past, finding all the new collectibles, taking a bad selfie, respecting the wildlife of the mountain, Matt and Jessica being the only survivors, and a whole host of other new tasks to be cracking on with.

The original Until Dawn on PS4 only has 19 trophies to earn, whereas we have 29 in the PS5 version. So, you can expect a lot of new content and fun things to uncover. However, those old walkthroughs will likely be somewhat redundant.
