We have just picked up the Tomb Raider Legend trophies which will come to PS Plus Premium on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. With the Tomb Raider Legend PS5 and PS4 platinum trophy revealed we can plan out the best route to loot all of those trophies in the most efficient way.

Tomb Raider Legend is the first none first-party PS2 game to receive trophies

There is no doubt about it in my eyes, Tomb Raider Legend is sensational. Just take a look at where I placed it on our Tomb Raider series ranking! I think it's the best game in that PS2-era trilogy and it's coming to PS Plus — with trophies — so now is the time to check it out.
Tomb Raider Legend makes history by being the first third-party PS2 game emulated for PS Plus to receive trophies. The was a slew of emulated PS2 games for PS4 and PS3 from 2015 to 2019, including Manhunt, Bully, Resident Evil Code Veronica X, Fahrenheit Indigo Prophecy, and so on. However, these weren't a part of the same PS Plus Premium-led emulations we are getting now.

Tomb Raider Legend is the first game in the PS2-era reboot of the Tomb Raider series. Thanks to Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness being a bit of a failure, Crystal Dynamics felt the series needed a refresh. Boy did they deliver on that end! While classic Lara Croft will always be my girl, the Legend trilogy reboot is absolutely phenomenal and well worth your attention.

Tomb Raider Legend sees Lara on a mission to uncover Excalibur, a legendary sword that might not be as much of a fairytale as one would believe. On this adventure, Lara will travel to many breathtaking locations, battle against an array of foes, learn more about her mother's demise, and be the badass we all know and love. Trust me, if you've never played this title before you are in for an absolute treat.

There are 42 trophies, none of which are hidden. Now, if you've played the PS3 version of Tomb Raider Legend, then the trophy list is going to be familiar to you — because it's identical. While that is a little disappointing, the fact I can earn this platinum twice is a win in my eyes. It's just all the more reason for me to keep playing Tomb Raider Legend over and over again.

Thanks to the games chapter select feature you don't need to worry about anything being missable as you can quickly grab anything you've missed through that feature. However, there is a trophy connected to beating the game on the hardest difficulty and you need to overcome every single time trial to snag the platinum 'Master of Tomb Raider Legend.' While it may sound daunting, it's not a hard task and you should have a fun time working through everything.
