Starbreeze AB sees profit potential in Double Fine's upcoming Psychonauts 2 as they have announced an investment of $8 million to aid in the publishing of the game, which is expected to launch in 2018.
Another financial quarter has finished and it's the time for most of the publishing companies to start declaring their financial results from the last three months to their shareholders. Publisher EA was the first to lead the way.

In a move to focus on its core services and games from its headquarters and Kiev studios, five satellite development studios will be sent out from under the developer's wing.
The last we heard from Turtle Rock Studios, they had ended support for 2015's Evolve after a last ditch free-to-play model failed to revive the game. They've announced a partnership with Perfect World to develop a new IP.
This week Bigben Interactive, publisher of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, has purchased the rights to the Test Drive series from Atari. Perhaps we'll see an entry into the franchise for the first time in years.
