The name Dying Light is looking increasingly inappropriate in these latest sun-soaked scenes from Bad Blood. The trailer has been launched in celebration of the game's Early Access release on Steam. We still have to wait.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is only a few weeks away, and Ubisoft have just dumped a whole lot of information about the game's additional content. Season Pass holders will be getting Assassin's Creed III Remastered as well.

Everybody's Golf is the next franchise to get a PlayStation VR iteration. Japan Studio took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the game, and though there are few details, we know the game is coming in 2019.

Just Cause 4's map has been revealed, with an interactive version of it appearing on the game's official website. Elsewhere on the official YouTube channel, HaleFail is ready to answer all of your questions about it.
Fortnite's latest patch adds the Suppressed Assault Rifle to Battle Royale, allowing players to deal significant damage with minimal noise. There's yet another character for Save the World as well.

Bandai Namco have taken to Twitter to announce a free launch-day DLC character for the upcoming My Hero One's Justice. It's the anime's protagonist, but with a move set from Season Three
Part 2 brings along another nine games. Unlike the first list, only six are confirmed for PlayStation 4, and one of them is coming specifically for PlayStation VR.

Unfortunately another delay has been revealed at Gamescom this year. Biomutant has been pushed back until next summer. Luckily we have a new trailer showing off the game's surreal world, plus some pretty screens.

Not all news from Gamescom has been positive. Unfortunately OVERKILL's The Walking Dead has been pushed back to February 2019 on consoles. PC players can still expect to see it this November.

Ubisoft's upcoming toys-to-life project Starlink: Battle for Atlas turned up on the Gamescom show floor, and for the rest of us there's a trailer exploring the solar system of Atlas as well as screens from the planets' surface.
Many people are desperate to see what's going on with Cyberpunk 2077 after a private demo at E3 left most journalists giddy with excitement. Unfortunately only a handful of new screens have made it out of Gamescom.
Torchlight Frontiers was recently revealed to be a new twist on the series with a persistent dynamic open world. At Gamescom, Perfect World revealed some gameplay footage and some screens as well.

The furious hack-and-slash sequel Darksiders III is coming up at the end of the year. THQ Nordic took the game to Gamescom this year, and released a new trailer and screens to get us fired up.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy may have been pushed back a little, but Gamescom has brought some new gameplay footage to cheer us up. For the first time we see what's going on with the remaster of the third game in the series.
Bandai Namco brought ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown to Gamescom this year, mainly to show off a whole bunch of screen shots and a trailer revealing a mysterious antagonist in a black plane.
The next major FromSoftware game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice appeared at this year's Gamescom, and with it came a release date, collector's edition details and gameplay features.
Upcoming investigative mystery Twin Mirror was announced at E3, and DONTNOD have revealed some more details during Gamescom. The game will be episodic and feature some fantastical investigation mechanics.
SOULCALIBUR VI has brought plenty of details to this year's Gamescom event. A second story mode called "Libra of Soul" will be included, along with in-depth character creation and DLC fighters. The first of those will be Tira.
The latest entry in the popular side-scrolling stunt bike series, Trials Rising was announced at this year's E3. Now it has a release date, along with a new video and news of an upcoming closed beta.
For Honor's upcoming Marching Fire update, launching in October, will feature an Arcade Mode. This PvE feature allows players to take on randomly generated challenges of varying difficulty.
Capcom have chosen Gamescom as the platform to announce Devil May Cry 5's release date. A new gameplay trailer shows off Nero's acrobatic combat style, and a stubbly Dante shows up to smack people with a motorbike.
Koei Tecmo have revealed two more characters for Dead or Alive 6. Leifang is returning and so is Hitomi. The reveal also shows off a new map set on a ruined pirate ship, complete with a cantankerous Kraken swiping at the fighters.
Violent tornadoes rip through the world of Just Cause 4, and of course Rico can head directly for the danger rather than avoid it like a sensible person. This video shows off the extreme weather physics on offer.
The latest update for deity-battling SMITE brings with it an adventure in the classic Joust map, which was replaced with the newer version in Season 3. Plus, there's some new skins and bug fixes to enjoy as well.
The latest gadget to show up in Fortnite's Battle Royale mode is the Rift-To-Go. Making the most of the strange Rifts of Season Five, this tool allows you and your friends to teleport across the map if you get in a jam.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey brings back the naval combat seen in the series in its third and fourth iterations. This time the combat is much closer and more agile, with more opportunities to customise your boat and crew.
Rainbow Six Siege is bringing two new operators into the action with the upcoming Grim Sky update in September. Maverick can melt through walls with a blowtorch, while Clash is the game's first shield-bearer.

Life is Strange 2 has finally had an official announcement, with a trailer and a large chunk of spoilerific gameplay footage. The first of five episodes, "Seattle", will launch on September 27th.
