Starbreeze AB sees profit potential in Double Fine's upcoming Psychonauts 2 as they have announced an investment of $8 million to aid in the publishing of the game, which is expected to launch in 2018.
Another financial quarter has finished and it's the time for most of the publishing companies to start declaring their financial results from the last three months to their shareholders. Publisher EA was the first to lead the way.

After Disney Infinity announced its discontinuation of the toys in May, it comes as no surprise they have detailed an outline for the servers' shutdown. All online services will be discontinued as of March 2017.
An interesting partnership was forged this week as developer Roll7 and publisher 505 Games signed a one-game development deal. The game will be a "multi-platform, multiplayer-focused" title tapping into a current trend.
