The Skull and Bones trophies sailed in alongside an elusive pirate platinum. With the Skull and Bones PS5 platinum trophy revealed, we now know that there are a whopping 51 trophies to collect — 37 bronze, 12 silver, 1 gold, and 1 shiny platinum. With this being a sprawling RPG, it's no surprise to see a stacked trophy list, and we reckon you'll have to plunder a fair few seas to earn them all.

Skull and Bones PS5 platinum trophy revealed

First announced back in 2017 after the success of Assassin Creed IV Black Flag's highly-praised ship combat, Skull and Bones is a long time in the making and one of the most anticipated upcoming PS5 games. Players recently got hands-on in the Skull and Bones open beta, and discovered a vast and immersive world filled with enemies to defeat and loot to plunder.
There are 51 trophies, 1 of which is hidden (to reveal the details of the secret trophy, please use this link). There's a huge variety of things to do in Skull and Bones, and the trophies reflects this, with trophies awarded for completing quests, cooking meals, talking to NPCs, harvesting materials, and more. There are also several trophies designed to encourage social play, with trophies awarded for teaming up with fellow players, greeting players in chat, and completing shared contracts.

In Skull and Bones players are set loose in a vast open world and left to chart their course. As such, there are several trophies awarded for exploration. Trophies are awarded for exploring all zones in the games' various areas such as Red Isle, Ease Indies, and the Coast of Africa, so be sure to search far and wide while playing.
Naval combat is a huge component of Skull and Bones, so naturally there are several combat trophies as well. 'Hitman' awards you for sinking a Privateer, rogue sailors who are sure to cause you plenty of grief while sailing the seven seas. Players who can defeat 5 ships without leaving the Open Seas region will be rewarded with the 'Battle Royale' trophy. 'Just For Fun' seems particularly harsh, awarding players for defeating an enemy ship and not looting the remains.

The single gold trophy is 'Magellan', which is awarded for sailing 1,000,000 meters. This is a huge number which is sure to take hundreds of hours of gameplay to accumulate. If you manage to collect every trophy in Skull and Bones, you will be awarded the Pirate Legend platinum trophy — a gong worthy of Blackbeard himself. Check out the Skull and Bones trophy list below!
