Our 3.1 million player sample of active PSN accounts has brought us a standing order for the most popular PS Plus June 2024 games this week. The PS5 top 40 shows PS Plus June 2024 probably isn't the most heavily played gaming lineup, but of those games, players have opted to collect the Streets of Rage 4 trophies.

PS Plus June 2024's most popular game is Streets of Rage 4

We love that we have one of our best 2-player PS5 games in the PS Plus Essential monthly hames lineup this month. What we love even more is that Streets of Rage 4 is the most popular of the three games, all of which got their debut on the chart this week. The beat 'em up has taken to #23 as its bopping soundtrack, crisp graphics, and solid gameplay make for a superb bit of video gaming.
Our other two games for PS Plus are also in the 20s, with SpongeBob SquarePants The Cosmic Shake in #26 and AEW Fight Forever in #28. However, it's worth noting that this lineup is debuting furthest down the list we've had for a while. When your lead game for the PS Plus Essential games lineup starts at #23 rather than up in the teens, it'll probably prove an unpopular month overall.

Helldivers 2 has suffered another small fall this week after dropping from #10 to #13. Its player count is down by 3.8%, which may sound negligible but it's been a few weeks of continuous downward trend now. With new content announced with the Viper Commandos Warbond, we may get an uptick soon, though.
So, that wraps up our chart for the week, and PS Plus is looking strong! What do you think of the lineup this month? Do you think any qualify as the best PS Plus games? Let us know in the comments below. Here is the top 40 PlayStation Gameplay Chart for the week ending Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 3.1 million active PlayStation accounts (not just TrueTrophies accounts). Chart information is copyright GameInsights. Regarding this data:
  • When an account opens a game, this is registered as a game being played. Accounts can only register a game once per week.
  • Our data is good for suggesting general trends — we represent this using percentages, not numbers.
