This list of PS Plus leaving games just doesn't seem to stop growing. Recently, we found out that PS Plus Extra had five more leaving games for May 2024, but now our scanners have picked up PS Plus Extra is losing three more games in May 2024.

Elex 2, Darksiders 3, and Darksiders Genesis are also leaving PS Plus Extra in May 2024

  • PS Plus Extra is losing all of the Darksiders games on Tuesday, May 21, 2024
  • Both entries in the Elex series will be removed from PS Plus
  • There are a total of nine unannounced games from Sony that are leaving PS Plus Extra in May 2024
Scanned through the TrueTrophies servers by our talented Development Team, we can add Elex 2, Darksiders 3, and Darksiders Genesis to the list of games we won't be able to play for much longer through PS Plus on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. These games not only join the 27 announced PS Plus Extra leaving games but the six other unannounced leaving games that include Horizon Zero Dawn, Darksiders 1, Darksiders 2, Wreckfest, Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, and MX vs. ATV.

All three additional games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium

Just like Kes pointed out in his article about the five additional games leaving PS Plus, the three games here are also published by THQ Nordic. This further backs up the idea that the contract between THQ Nordic and Sony has come to an end and all of its games are now exiting the service. However, there is always the possibility of negotiations in the future that may see some of these come back.
I actually have an interest in all three games leaving the service. While I have yet to play any games in either the Elex or Darksiders franchise, they both look like series that I would gel with really well. While I do own the Elex games physically, I don't own any games in the Darksiders series which makes their loss sting that little bit more. I guess my only option now is to bite the bullet and purchase them physically when I have the cash to spare.

What do you make of all these games leaving PS Plus that Sony has not announced? Are there any games that you are sad to see leave? Are there any games in this huge batch of leaving games we should add to our best PS5 games list? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
