Well, thanks to the PlayStation Stars rewards update for September 2024, you now have 16 new PS5 and PS4 games that you can spend those PS Stars points on!PlayStation Stars adds Gran Turismo 7 and more to PS App rewardsAfter almost all of the PlayStation Stars rewards were removed in the August 2024 update, you might have been left wondering what you should spend your PS Stars points on. After the latest purge of the Rewards Catalog, the only game still available for the last month was Stellar Blade on PS5.Available in the PS App!However, thanks to the PS App update on Monday, September 9, 2024, there are now 18 PS5 and PS4 games to choose from in the Rewards Catalog — 17 new titles and Stellar Blade, which is still available. Some games listed above may not be available in all regions. As usual, we must remind you that the far more economically savvy thing to do with your loyalty points is to exchange them for PS Store credit in the Rewards Catalog rather than PS5 and PS4 games. Unlike games available via the PS Store, these Reward Catalog games never go on sale, and so charge the equivalent of full price in PS Stars points. These rewards are still better. For example, Gran Turismo 7 costs 17,500 points in the Rewards Catalog — the same amount of points it would take to claim $70 worth of PS Store credit. If you claim the credit instead, you give yourself the option to pick up Gran Turismo 7 when it's next on sale, potentially saving yourself PS Store credit in the process.Plus, the credit can also be used on any games on the PS Store you want, so your choice doesn't have to be limited to Gran Turismo 7, Stellar Blade, or any of the games on this list. That's our advice, at any rate — feel free to trade-in your PS Stars points for whatever reward takes your fancy! If you need help wrapping your head around PlayStation Stars loyalty points, or even navigating to the Rewards Catalog in the PS App, make sure to check our PlayStation Stars guide for some helpful tips.
