PS Plus Essential monthly games for January 2024 revealed

The PS Plus Essential monthly games for January 2024 include A Plague Tale Requiem, Evil West, and Nobody Saves The World. The three games come to PS5 and PS4 on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, and will be available for download then. The games from December 2023 will leave the service on Monday, January 1, 2023, alongside 10 other games leaving PS Plus Extra later in the month. You can find our write-ups for the three new PS Plus games for January 2023 below.

A Plague Tale Requiem

Well, we predicted this adventure game might eventually come to PS Plus Essential a month ago and we were only a month out. A Plague Tale Requiem follows its previous entry in coming to PS Plus Essential. If the first game was anything to go by, this is going to do some serious numbers as PS5 player gets their hands on it. Amicia and Hugo De Rune's story continues after the events of the first game, Innocence, saw them kill rats, form an alliance with alchemists, and explore France during the 100 Years War. Honestly, we can't wait for this.

Evil West

Publisher Focus Interactive continues giving PS Plus games with Evil West. This 2022-released third-person shooter was one of the fun callbacks to B-tier gaming and PS5 and PS4 players can all now leap on the wagon of fun. On the American frontier, you'll be saving the world from horrible things very violently using a basket of steampunk-inspired weaponry. I mean, this just seems like a great time, doesn't it?

Nobody Saves the World

Coming from developer Drinkbox Studios, the folks behind Guacamelee, we have top-down action RPG Nobody Saves The World. This unique single-player and co-op game is lauded as a favorite from last year, it just went under the radar. Every 'Form' is different and can be given unique combinations offering up plenty of replayability as you go down into the dungeons. Serious solid stuff here and a great addition to PS Plus to start you off in 2024.

I'm sure we will find space on the underrated PS5 games on PS Plus list for one of these games. What do you think of the lineup? Let us know in the comments and I'll see you down there!
