Gundam Evolution is the first game that will be removed from the face of the earth. While there isn't a platinum trophy to earn, you will lose access to all 12 of the game's trophies if you do not earn them by Wednesday, November 29, 2023. This is the only game on the list that will see its servers closed before December 2023.

Rocket League isn't having its servers closed, instead, it's seeing one of its features removed from the game (the ability to trade with other players). This will not impact the platinum, but it will impact the DLC trophy 'Swap Meet' (which asks you to trade and receive more than one item with a player in a single transaction). This trophy is part of the Champions Field DLC and will be discontinued on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
After these are all out of the way, we have a wave of EA titles seeing their servers closed on Friday, December 8, 2023. The games impacted are Battlefield 1943, Battlefield Bad Company, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Mirror's Edge, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Crysis 3, Dante's Inferno, and Dead Space 2. Of all the games mentioned, only Mirror's Edge (PS3) and Dead Space 2 will not see any trophies impacted by the server closures.

Finally, on Sunday, December 31, 2023, both NBA 2K22 and WWE 2K22 will see their servers closed for both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. This will impact a bevy of trophies throughout each title. So, make sure you grab any online-only trophies while you still can. However, both games will require a substantial amount of grinding in order to get everything done and dusted before the aforementioned date rolls around.
I have jumped straight into Mirror's Edge Catalyst and grabbed the two trophies that will be discontinued on December 8. If you are unsure if you'll be able to earn the two trophies, then fear not as both are very simple. You only need to play through a few story missions then you will gain access to the online mode of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. The trophies were easy and took me around ten minutes to earn once I was able to attempt them.

Are there any games in the list that you want to try and platinum? Are you sad to see many of these servers close? Do any of these titles deserve to be on our best PS4 games list? Let us know all your thoughts and feelings in the comment below!
