Planet Zoo brings Zoo Tycoon successor's platinum trophy to PS5

The Planet Zoo PS5 platinum trophy has been revealed ahead of the game's launch. So, dust off those overalls and get ready to care for some exotic animals.

We have just picked up the Planet Zoo trophies that landed on PS5 on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. With the Planet Zoo PS5 platinum trophy revealed, we can finally start putting in the work and building ourselves the perfect zoo for all our animals to prosper. This title certainly has the potential to land on our list of the best PS5 games for kids.

Planet Zoo PS5 platinum trophy revealed

Planet Zoo is the spiritual successor to Zoo Tycoon and comes from the same developer that made the 2013 reboot on Xbox. So, you can expect a lot of familiarity between Planet Zoo and Zoo Tycoon. In Planet Zoo you will look after an array of animals from lions to elephants and red pandas to zebras. You'll be crafting habitats, researching each species to allow them to thrive, helping your animals raise families of their own, and building the perfect zoo to entertain your customers.

Planet Zoo has 39 trophies, none of which are hidden. The trophy list is filled with tasks for seeing things through to completion. You're going to have to research every single species in a single non-sandbox playthrough, release critically endangered animals into the wild, have over 25 different zoos, achieve an education rating of 5 stars, and more lengthy objectives like this.

While we can't say for certain if there are missable trophies to worry about, the bronze trophy 'An Elephant Never Forgets' very well could be as it asks you to adopt some retiring Indian elephants in the game's seventh scenario of the 'Franchise' game mode. It looks like you might be able to pass up on adding these elephants to your zoo if you aren't careful.

Lastly, we are sorry to inform you that there are difficulty-related trophies to worry about. You're going to have to complete all original 'Career' levels to a gold standard on the Hard difficulty setting. For more information, check out the full Planet Zoo trophy list below!
