Infinity Nikki trophy stops all PS5 players from earning platinum Infinity Nikki's 'Heart Full of Wonders' trophy is keeping all PS5 players from being able to unlock the cozy open-world game's platinum.Jamie Sharp Published 02 Jan 2025 FollowtopicsInfinity NikkiPapergamesFree to PlayPlayStation 5Jamie Sharp The Infinity Nikki 'Heart Full of Wonders' trophy has become the biggest bottleneck when it comes to PS5 players unlocking the game's platinum. Among the 24 Infinity Nikki trophies for you to collect, this is one of two that will give you trouble. Who knew that a game about dressing an anime girl would have one of the hardest platinum trophies on PS5?Iridescent Eureka RNG is keeping Infinity Nikki PS5 players from getting its platinumInfinity Nikki was initially released on December 5, 2024This is a free-to-play game, but money won't make this one tricky trophy easierPlayers are at the mercy of RNG and limited resources that must recharge over timeThis is your only warning if you'd like to complete Infinity Nikki's trophy list without peeking at the secret trophies. Spoilers ahead for anyone who doesn't want to know the details of this hidden trophy. However, it's not linked to the story in any way, so you should be safe.Of course, I'm talking about the trophy "Heart Full of Wonders" — a trophy with a 0% earn rate on PSN! To get it, you must collect 100 Iridescent Eurekas, which is so much easier said than done. You'll come across these fashion accessories early after unlocking the suitably named Realm of Eureka, where they're awarded for challenge run completions. However, you'll soon learn how to upgrade Eurekas, which costs you Blings and Shining Particles. When upgrading Five Star Eurekas, you have a chance for their color to change and become Iridescent. Unfortunately, Eurekas rarely become Iridescent, but that's not the only problem causing this bottleneck. Blings are common enough and you can exchange items easily found around Infinity Nikki's world to build up enough to cover your upgrading costs. Shining Particles are rare, though. They're barely handed out for completing quests. That means the best way to get them is via an in-game idle app that gives you enough to fully upgrade one Eureka every 2 days.To caveat this, you can use Three and Four Star Eurekas, as well as non-Iridescent Five Star ones, to upgrade your new ones. Slowing this whole process down even further is a third currency: Vital Energy. You need to spend this when running challenges in the Realm of Eureka to get more Eurekas. It recharges over time, leaving you with enough for two or three decent runs per day. I've been playing since release on December 5, 2024, and have collected 12 max-level Eurekas and a grand total of 0 Iridescent Eurekas. This is a similar story to most Infinity Nikki players, leading many to believe the trophy or Eureka system itself might be bugged. I've done some digging around on social media and have seen players with them in the wild, so I know they exist at the very least. This trophy relies on not only time and patience, but luck. You can throw some cash at the game to buy more Shining Particles, but there's no way to buy a better chance at an Iridescent Eureka. If you are desperate and flush with money, you may be able to speed up the process by buying the game's version of a season pass (the Distant Anthem track of the Mira Journey). It awards additional Shining Particles, so you'll have extra chances at trying for Iridescent Eurekas.Having spent over 30 hours with Infinity Nikki and staring this trophy down for that entire period with no progress to show for it, I've still had a wonderful time. I wouldn't be surprised if we add it to our list of the best free PS5 games before too long! Have you had any luck with this trophy? Let us know in the comments.
