Milestone has done great work with the Hot Wheels brand name; such that you might get unduly hyped for a new Hot Wheels game that might not bear the studio's mark of quality.Hot Wheels Monster Trucks is instead being developed by 3DClouds, just one week after finishing Transformers Galactic Trials. It's also being published by GameMill Entertainment, who have something of a reputation of firing out quick cash-grab licensed games. All we're saying is that you might not want to go into this one expecting something like Hot Wheels Unleashed 2.To its credit, Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Stunt Mayhem still looks like it could be a fun PS5 and PS4 game — the trailer embedded above certainly makes it seem so. The game focuses on pulling off stunts, which might give it a unique flavor compared to the Unleashed games. Plus, the game's platinum trophy looks like it'll be an absolute breeze to unlock, so that's a pro.To unlock Hot Wheels Monster Trucks' platinum trophy, you'll need to complete career mode, chain together 30 stunts, clear the objectives in each event to take home the badge, and earn the coveted final Monster Trophy.
