These three difficult picks from the latest PS Store sales will provide you with a healthy challenge while not being impossible to overcome. Hopefully, you've also been able to avoid those 50 broken trophy lists in the Essential Picks PS Store sale. If you're looking for less of a challenge, we also picked up some of the easy trophies in the latest sale as well.

All trophy lists are pulled from the EU and UK PS Store. These games will no longer be discounted as of Wednesday, July 17, 2024, so make sure you pick them up before then!

Back 4 Blood

Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, an iconic co-op zombie shooter. So, you can expect to face down hordes of flesh-hungry zombies and terrifying bosses in this one. The game can be played solo or with a group of friends and there is even a deck-building aspect to the game that can help turn the tide of battle in your favour.

There are no missable trophies to worry about thanks to chapter select. However, there are a variety of difficulty-related trophies you'll have to tackle — this is where the difficulty rating comes from. Beating the game on Nightmare Mode is going to be, well, a nightmare to put it lightly. The rarest trophy in the game is actually 'Good Ridence' which asks you to kill 53600 zombies.

If you can manage all of that then the platinum 'All Cleaned Up' is as good as yours. Currently, the platinum trophy sits with an overall completion rate of 0.30% on PSN.

Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising 2 takes place five years after the events of the original Dead Rising. Players take control of Chuck Greene, a former national motocross champion, who finds himself caught in the middle of another zombie apocalypse. Chuck must fight off hordes of the undead, murderous psychopaths, and save his daughter, Katey, from becoming a zombie by supplying her with a daily dose of Zombrex.

Dead Rising 2 features an array of easily missable trophies that you will need to be aware of as you hunt for the platinum trophy. You also have to contend with a bunch of time-limited trophies, multiplayer trophies, collectible trophies, and grind-based trophies.

The platinum 'DR2 Trophy Master' isn't going to come quickly or easily and you best be prepared for that. Currently, the platinum trophy sits with an overall completion rate of 0.20% on PSN.

60 Seconds Reatomized

60 Seconds Reatomized sees you and your family — if you choose even to save them at the start of the game — attempting to survive in a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear bomb goes off. You'll need to ration your supplies, forage for useful items, and find a safe haven to live out the rest of your days. But be careful, there are a lot of sinister things that can happen to you and your family along the way.

The main difficulty of 60 Seconds Reatomized comes from the sheer RNG of how events pop up. You may be super lucky and get everything you need one after another, or you could be stuck replaying the game over and over to get one event to trigger.

On top of all the random events you need to witness, you also need to win a game in every game mode on the hardest difficulty, Tsar Bomba, and survive for 111 days straight. If you can do all of that then the platinum 'King of Cans' will be yours for the taking. As it stands the platinum currently sits with an overall completion rate of 0.40% on PSN.

That's all the difficult trophy lists we have for you today. Are there any here you'll be tempted to play? If you're looking for more hard platinum trophies, make sure to check out our list of the hardest platinum trophies on PS Plus. Let us know all your thoughts in the comments below!
