Funko Fusion gets free PS5 DLC of former PC exclusive content

Funko Fusion has received free PS5 DLC of former PC-exclusive content that now allows you to play as four Team Fortress 2 characters in this fun little venture.

While those Funko Fusion trophies may take a bit of effort to earn, this latest bit of DLC may help lighten the burden. Funko Fusion has received free PS5 DLC of former PC-exclusive content originally only available to Steam users. This DLC expands the Funko Fusion characters list by adding Team Fortress 2 characters to the roster.

Funko Fusion offers free PS5 DLC of Team Fortress 2

PlayStation players can now download the Team Fortress 2 DLC through the PS5 PS Store for free. The content adds four characters to the roster — Engineer, Heavy, Medic, and Scout — and allows you to explore every level as any of these characters. However, depending on the level you may need to switch to other characters to progress as some puzzles require skills that only certain characters possess.

Team Fortress 2 is the second piece of character DLC to be released and follows The Walking Dead DLC that allows you to play as either Michonne or Rick Grimes. However, The Walking Dead DLC is only free to download if you pre-ordered the game ahead of its release. If you didn't pre-order the game then The Walking Dead DLC will set you back $9.99/£8.99.

I'm honestly loving the game so much, especially since the difficulty was reduced and they expanded our stamina bar so we can run for longer. It's a surprisingly solid action platformer with a wealth of easter eggs to uncover that center around over favourite TV shows and movies.

Now that we've got even more characters added to the roster for free, it makes it hard not to recommend you jump in and check this game out. It's surprisingly complex, will get your brain working, and is quite gruesome at times. While you may be playing as Funko Pop figures, the actual game is definitely not for young children.

I'm hoping we get to see a lot more characters added to the game in the coming months. Personally, I would love to see a few more Xena Warrior Princess characters join the roster. After making it my goal to finish the Xena cameo quest as soon as possible, I know that Callisto could be easily added as we had to battle against her in Xena's mission.
