If you’re in the market for a Souls-lite with old-timey guns, you won’t have to wait much longer to collect those Flintlock The Siege of Dawn trophies. In fact, the Flintlock The Siege of Dawn PS5 platinum trophy has been revealed ahead of the game’s launch on Thursday, July 18, 2024. This is one of the more unusual concepts in our upcoming PS5 games list, let’s take a look at those trophies!

The PS5 trophies for Flintlock The Siege of Dawn have been revealed

There’s a lot going on in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn. You’re a member of a coalition army, sent on a mission to kill a bunch of stray gods and shut them down below, where they belong. You do all of this armed with gunpowder abilities and more traditional weapons, while a mysterious fox-like companion keeps you on the right path. The battles are more rhythmic than you might be used to, meaning you’ll want to get the sound turned up for this one.
There are 38 trophies in all, with a wee slice of these being hidden until you happen upon them. You've got three gold trophies to find, 15 silver, and 20 bronze before you get that all-important platinum. A good few are rewards for smooth and slick gameplay, like 'Massacre' which asks you to kill five enemies in two seconds, or 'Headhunter' which requires 20 headshots.

Others focus on completing sets of items, fully upgrading weapons, or gathering battle reputation. One of them, 'Mistakes Were Made,' merely asks you to die ten times. So, that should be easy enough. There aren’t many trophies that seem to present a real challenge, but those hidden ones could prove to be tricky once they are officially revealed (thanks TrueAchievements).

Miri's hobbies outside of gaming inform everything about their on-screen preferences: Lots of reading, irritatingly tough puzzles, and anything vaguely historical. As such, they're always on the lookout for another Disco Elysium-type read-a-thon, a Myst-like island to get lost in, or an ancient time capsule like The Forgotten City. Other than that, if anything is being described as "weird and unsettling", it's either Miri, or their new favorite indie game.
