The monthly PS Plus games of February 2024 came to PS5 and PS4 on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. So, to help you out in your platinum trophy hunts, we've compiled a guide to tell you what the easiest and hardest PS Plus Essential trophies of February 2024 are. However, if you're heart is set on the easiest of the easy, make sure to check out our easy platinum trophies guide.

PS Plus trophy guide — how easy and how long are the Essential games?

Last month we saw a pretty tame collection of games, with most of them containing easy-to-grab platinums. Well, it looks like a similar situation this month as two of the three games come with easy enough trophy lists well worth checking out. We have a solid AA title here as well as a couple of fun-looking multiplayer ventures to embark on!

Check out the grid below to see what trophy lists contain missables and how long each platinum should take to earn.

Game Length Difficulty Missables
Steelrising tophies 20-30 hours 5/10 15
Foamstars trophies 30-40 hours (est) 3/10
Rollerdrome trophies 10-20 hours 4/10

Steelrising — trophy list summary

Steelrising throws you into a soulslike no other. The French Revolution was suppressed with nothing but bloodshed and pain by Louis XVI and his sadistic mechanical army. So, you take on the role of Aegis, a mysterious automaton with the skills to overcome the monstrous tasks ahead of her. Go and confront the king's army alone to save history in this epic action-RPG.

The trophy list is filled with missable trophies that you'll need to keep a keen eye on if you want to avoid a bunch of unnecessary playthroughs. Thankfully, there are no difficulty-related trophies you have to dodge past, so you can take your time and enjoy the game at your own leisure. Currently, the platinum trophy 'Vive la Révolution' has an overall completion rate of 1% on PSN.

Foamstars — trophy list summary

Foamstars is the recent PS Plus Essential addition that sees you battling it out in teams to win the Foamsmash tournament. The game has a lot of similarities to Splatoon and now PlayStation players can feel the thrill of painting the world with your foam and covering up more ground than your opponents. Foamstars even has a story mode that explains the foam's origin, which is a little more grim than one may have thought.

The Foamstars trophy list is really pretty simple and shouldn't take much effort to work through. You'll simply play the game repeatedly until all of the required tasks are complete. However, it's worth pointing out that Foamstars does not come with any platinum trophy to earn, which may be a bit of a dealbreaker for many of you.

Rollerdome — trophy list summary

Skate, shoot, and survive in a hellish set of obstacle courses that are designed to bring you as much pain and suffering as humanly possible. Due to a lack of job opportunities, people are lured into entering this obscene completion in order to make enough money to survive in this dystopian world. That is exactly how you find yourself in this situation. So, you better get ready to skate for your life, literally.

There are no difficulty-related or missable trophies to worry about here. However, there is a trophy for beating a specific enemy without taking damage which may prove tedious. You will also need to 100% all of the missions throughout the campaign in order to earn a magnitude of trophies. So, you likely have a lot of work to put in here. As it stands, the platinum 'I Am Kara Hassan' sits with an overall completion rate of 0.40% on PSN.

Will you attempt to earn the platinum trophy in any of these titles? Or do you think they are all a bit too much work? If you are looking for what games to be careful of, our unobtainable PS Plus platinum trophies guide will help you dodge any broken trophy lists.
