The PS Plus monthly games of December 2023 will come to PS5 and PS4 on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. To help you in your platinum trophy hunts, we've compiled a guide to tell you what the easiest and hardest PS Plus Essential trophies of December 2023 are. However, if you're looking for a few simpler trophy lists, make sure to check out our easy platinum trophies guide.

PS Plus trophy guide — how easy and how long are the Essential games?

Last month we saw a pretty challenging set of trophy lists to work through. However, it seems we are in for a much calmer time this month. We have a couple of solid indie titles bringing us some fun-looking platinums to earn and a lengthy Lego racer with a pretty balanced platinum to snatch up. Come on, let's that a look at these trophy lists together!

Check out the grid below to see what trophy lists contain missables and how long each platinum should take to earn.

Game Length Difficulty Missables
Lego 2K Drive tophies 50+ hours 4/10
PowerWash Simulator trophies 40-50 hours 3/10
Sable trophies 10-20 hours 2.5/10

Lego 2K Drive — trophy list summary

Lego 2K Drive is ready to take you on a fun-fuelled ride across a variety of cooky and outlandish race courses as you try and take first place and win the platinum. The LEGO 2K Drive trophies are pretty simple, but they will take a tremendous amount of time to earn. There are a few collectible trophies in the mix as well as a trophy that is known to be a bit buggy and doesn't always unlock right away ('XPerienced').

However, if you have the patience (and a bit of luck) then you'll get the platinum trophy 'Tastes Like Platinum' eventually. Currently, the platinum sits with an overall completion rate of 0.10% on PSN, which is probably quite intimidating to see. We promise the list isn't overall difficult, it's just a lengthy grind and the game can get a bit repetitive after a prolonged amount of time with it. Hence, many people will have stopped trying to earn the platinum.

PowerWash Simulator — trophy list summary

PowerWash Simulator is a game that took the world by storm when it was released on PC a few years back. The addictive nature of turning mucky landscapes into beautiful and clean places is surprisingly engaging. Seriously, you just need to try the game if you are having doubts, you won't be disappointed. The trophies are also solid, providing you with decent challenges while not being too difficult to achieve.

The PowerWash Simulator platinum trophy 'Pressure's Off' currently resides with an overall completion rate of 3.50% on PSN. While not the highest completion rate we've ever seen in a batch of PS Plus Essential titles, it's certainly more optimistic than Lego 2K Drive's platinum. So, what are you waiting for? It's time to clean to your heart's content and grab that platinum!

Sable — trophy list summary

Sable puts you in the role of, well, Sable, a young girl on a personal journey of self-discovery. You'll explore vibrant and beautiful locations as you solve puzzles and help Sable figure out her place in the world. The game is completely combat-free and boasts a stunning art style that's a treat for the eyes. The trophies are also very easy to work through and don't require much effort to earn.

There are no difficulty-related trophies to worry about in Sable, nor are there any missables. So, play the game at your own pace and complete it as quickly or as slowly as you like. Currently, the platinum trophy 'Glider' sits with an overall completion rate of 7.20% on PSN, and should take no more than 20 hours to earn. Sable looks like the perfect game for those wanting a peaceful and simple platinum top earn this month!

Will you attempt to earn the platinum trophy in any of these titles? Or do you think they are all a bit too much work? If you are looking for what games to be careful of, our unobtainable PS Plus platinum trophies guide will help you dodge any broken trophy lists.
