A surprise hit, Enter the Gungeon is still going strong with a Supply Drop Update that will be rolled out sometime this fall. Devolver Digital, the developer, has been listening to what the fans have wanted and, while three made it into the top spots ("ever lasting life, rock hard abs, and more content"), they could only deliver on one. Everyone gets one guess as to what they were able to bring us.
Information on the update, and what is meant by having a "Bullet Gun," is teased in the latest press release.
The Enter the Gungeon’s Supply Drop Update will add over a hundred new rooms to the Gungeon that include new weapons, enemies, companions, bosses, and shrines for even the most seasoned Gungeoneer. Players will come across new guns like the Bullet Gun, a gun shaped like a bullet that shoots guns and those guns shoot bullets, and new companions like Ser Junkan who gains strength and power as you carry more and more literal junk with you through the Gungeon. Elite gunslingers will also be able to tackle unique pasts for both Robot and Bullet and an all-new boss – the Mine Flayer!
A gun that looks like a bullet that shoots guns that shoot bullets? Yeah, that certainly sounds like we're talking about the right game, and developer, on this one.
Although playable at PAX West, there is no known release date for this new Supply Drop Update for Enter The Gungeon other than it is coming out sometime this Fall on PlayStation 4.
