Hatsune Miku Project Diva X Detailed

By Alex Frost,
English-speaking fans of the upcoming game Hatsune Miku Project DIVA X are in for a great start to the weekend as new details are released along with two new trailers.

At it's core, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X is a rhythm based game where you play as the titular character: Hatsune Miku. With this newest title, the narrative is driven by Miku and her friends as they take on requests, complete with 30 new and classic Hatsune Miku music, and explore the five Clouds, also known as worlds. Along with these, there are other features included in this title like almost 300 costumes (called "modules"), the Concert Editor, and brand new interactions between the characters.

For starters, check out the announcement trailer from a few months back:

Some of this information differs from previous titles, like the Concert Editor and the five Clouds, so we'll go through these one-by-one.

The newly added Concert Editor allows you to create and produce live concerts, changing your costumes and accessories, as well as tweaking the songs and stages you will be using. The Five Clouds, and their requests, are also a new feature with each of the Clouds having its own aura. The auras are Classic, Cool, Cute, Elegant, and Quirky. With each new Cloud you will need to optimize your modules and accessories to make sure you are fulfilling each Cloud's requirements correctly. You can check out some of the new features in the newest trailer for the game.

Of course, all this also comes with the details of a demo available for both North American and European audiences starting August 9th. With three songs, some unlockable costumes, and a custom Music Festival medley this is certainly something fans would want to check out before the game launches.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will release on PlayStation 4 and Vita consoles only sometime this fall as a digital download only.
