FIFA 17 Cover Star Announced

For the past couple of weeks, FIFA fans (fans of the games; I don't think there's many fans of the organisation after which they're named at the moment) have been voting for who should grace the cover of the latest in the long-running franchise, FIFA 17. The choice was between four of the game's top attacking talents - Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Manchester United's Anthony Martial and Real Madrid's James Rodriguez - and the competition was fierce with over 3 million votes cast.

And the winner is...

That's right, in addition to being the face of EA's new Active Intelligence System, Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus will also be the global cover athlete for FIFA 17 when it launches on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 on September 27th in North America and September 29th worldwide.
