New 2D Platformer Splasher Revealed

There's nothing like a new game making a splash in the market, and it seems like new 2D platformer Splasher is aiming to do just that. The game sees you learn to use and master a paint cannon in order to progress through levels, saving the splashers, and ultimately defeating the evil doctor. We've been promised over twenty levels, with some pretty cool boss fights, as well as a time attack mode for you to test your speed. With each colour of the paint cannon offering you a different ability, take a look at the screenshots below to be dazzled by blues, purples, greens and oranges.

If you want a sneak peek of the gameplay itself (a "work in progress", to be noted), then take a look at the short trailer for the game below. It seems like there's going to be a lot of fast-paced action here for you to master, with constant jumping and dodging whilst making use of floors, ceilings and walls.

Splasher is due to hit the PS4 sometime later 2016/early 2017 and will be officially shown to press at Gamescom next month. Keep an eye out for more news on this game as we get it.
