New Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Details Revealed

About a month ago, Hollow Realization was announced for the West, and several trailers were released. Some new information sheds a little light on those trailers, including the revelation that characters Agil and Klein will be returning.

Players will be able to gain the aid of 300 NPCs throughout the game. These NPCs will be able to join the player's custom avatar on their adventures when they set out from the Town of Beginning. Growing the bond with these NPCs and giving them equipment is important as both will improve their fighting abilities.

Online functionality will allow players to engage in raids with both NPCs and other players. The world itself will be filled with new monsters to encounter including Shadow Demons, which populate entirely new areas to explore.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is set for release this Fall, both physically and digitally, for PlayStation 4 and Vita in Europe, the Middle-East, Africa, and Australasia.
