Telltale Games surprised everyone earlier in the year when they announced that their five-part adventure, Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series, would actually be extended to eight parts. The first of these extra Episodes is now just around the corner.
Titled "A Portal to Mystery", Jesse and his gang will land themselves in a strange, zombie-invested realm. Seeking refuge in a spooky mansion (always a great idea), they will have to unravel a mystery.
They won't be alone. This Episode will guest star popular members of the Minecraft, voicing their own YouTube characters.
Players will get to interact with Joseph Garrett as Stampy Cat, Stacy Hinojosa as Stacy Plays, Dan Middleton as DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart), Lizzie Dwyer as LDShadowLady, and Jordan Maron as CaptainSparklez.
As previously reported, these new Episodes will not be available as part of the original five-part Season Pass. Instead, Telltale have announced the "Adventure Pass", which includes all three new instalments for $14.99 USD or your local equivalent. Otherwise, the individual Episodes 6, 7 and 8 will cost you $4.99 USD or your local equivalent. Players will have to own at least Episode 1 of the original series, or own the original Season Pass disc, in order to purchase the additional Episodes.
PS3, PS4, and Vita owners can download Episode 6 on June 7th.
