Severed Cuts Up Limbs This Month On The PS Vita

By Jon,
Guacamelee! was an incredibly cool platformer that clearly had an incredible sense of style. The team at DrinkBox Studios nailed the Day of the Dead aesthetic and successfully translated the designs of Mexican folkart to a video game. For fans of that style, it's probably seemed like a long time since we last had any news about DrinkBox Studios next game, Severed (Vita). Well get ready, because in two weeks you get to revisit the surreal designs of DrinkBox Studios.

Unlike Guacamelee!, Severed is a first person dungeon crawler that actively uses the Vita's touchpad for combat. Your character, Sasha, uses the dismembered bodies of her enemies as weapons to gain additional powers during her quest to find her missing family. Check out the cool designs and fluid gameplay of the latest trailer:

Here's a few screenshots that let you take a closer look at the design and UI:

Severed will be out exclusively for the PlayStation Vita on April 26th.

We've got the full list of Severed (Vita) trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
