Final Fantasy XIV Update Released

By Alex Frost,
Square Enix released patch 3.21 for FINAL FANTASY 14 A Realm Reborn today, bringing in a new PvP mode called "The Feast."

The player’s primary objective is to steal their opponent's medals in teams of four or eight. The Feast dramatically shifts the playing field and a team’s strategy with the introduction of a variety of boosts from supply boxes, as well as detrimental effects where players can receive additional damage based on how many medals they hold and how much time has elapsed without a KO. Players who have unlocked the “Wolves’ Den” will automatically be able to access this new content.
There are also ranked matches for players who are ready to prove their talent to the world, another new feature that's been incorporated into this week's update. This marks the start of the pre-season battles, with Season One of the ranked season starting with the upcoming Patch 3.25. At the end of every season, the top players will receive "special rewards" for placing in those coveted top spots.
