Homefront: The Revolution Gets Four-Player Co-op

By Marc Caccamise,
Instead of online competitive multiplayer, a new four-player cooperative mode called Resistance Mode has been revealed for Homefront: The Revolution Trophies. Players will form a "Resistance Cell" and take on guerrilla missions against the KVA occupying force. The team of freedom fighters can be improved over time, going from civilians to battle-hardened soldiers. Completing missions will unlock new skills, weapon blueprints, rare equipment, and combat gear.

According to Game Director Hasit Zala, there will be 12 missions in Resistance Mode with the hope to publish 20 more in the first year. All of the missions will be free to download. The co-op mode will run alongside the single-player campaign, which is said to be more than 30 hours long.

Homefront: The Revolution is set to release on May 17th for the Playstation 4 in North America and May 20th in other regions. Pre-ordering the game gets you the Revolutionary Spirit Pack, which includes the "Red Skull" motorcycle skin and the Golden pistol skin for use in the campaign. It also unlocks the Marksman Rifle, Sniper Scope, and Remote Explosives for Resistance Mode.
