Digital Dreams will be bringing their popular PS Vita puzzle title Metrico, which originally released as part of the PlayStation Plus lineup, to the Playstation 4 as METRICO+. There'll be new unique worlds to explore that feature challenges and "distinct mechanics, looks and sounds". On the PS4, new worlds and features will be added to replace some worlds that were reliant on the PS Vita's exclusive features.
Lead designer Geert Nellen is buzzing with how the community has responded to the title so far:
We are extremely happy with how Metrico was received by players and press. The PlayStation Vita is a fantastic platform with a great audience, but we want more people to enjoy the world we created. So now we’re really excited about Metrico making the transition to the big screen and can’t wait to share the look and feel of the Metrico+ experience with an entirely new audience on PC and consoles.
The title will also feature original music by "Dutch synth hero" Palmbomen. If you're lucky enough to be attending this year's Gamescom event in August, be sure to check out the Indie Arena Booth on the consumer show floor where the title will be showcased for the first time.
