Goat Simulator Coming to Playstation

By MunchMagic1986,
Coffee Stain Studios and Double Eleven have announced that their insanely popular Goat Simulator will be coming to Playstation consoles next month. In case you are one of the few people who haven't heard about this crazy game, you take on the role of a goat and run around causing chaos. There isn't really much else other than that really. There are objectives to complete and scores to rack up, similar to playing a Tony Hawks game. You are able to interact with almost everything in the game by using your tongue to grab hold of it, including rideable bikes. There are built in mods to allow use of a jetpack, turn into a whale or giraffe, become a devil goat, several options to completely randomise your game. Headbutt obstacles, sacrifice people to the goat overlord, stick your tongue to a helicopter and get a tour of the land, run up buildings and even play a mini game called......Flappy Goat.

They also mentioned that the Playstation editions of the game will also be featuring something called "GoatVR", which is not a Project Morpheus feature going by their statement.

We’ve been working on GoatVR for some time, and we’re pleased to debut it in the PlayStation editions of Goat Simulator. GoatVR is the most authentic “simulated GoatVR experience” that doesn’t require a helmet or anything. Although it’s not quite ready yet we felt it better to stay ahead of the crowd and let it out into the wild. We still need to do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it.

We’ve also added a score multiplier to help offset the concerns we’ve had from a very few number of beta testers that felt it was somewhat difficult to ‘see where you are going’.
