Publisher, Strategy First, has announced that an all new FlatOut racing title is currently in development by Paris based Kylotonn Entertainment and is expected to be released sometime in 2016.
Kylotonn Entertainment has built has a high profile in the racing genre and has developed such games as Truck Racer, last year's Motorcycle Club (PS3) and are currently developing the latest in the WRC: FIA World Rally Championship franchise, WRC 5.
Strategy First’s Director, Emanuel Wall, spoke about the partnership with Kylotonn Entertainment:
FlatOut is our most important franchise. There is a strong vocal community that have numerous constructive ideas and suggestions on what they would like to experience in an all new FlatOut. We would like to invite anyone who is a fan of FlatOut to be part of the process. We are excited about our partnership with Kylotonn Entertainment.
As mentioned above, in order to deliver the most ambitious FlatOut title to date, Strategy First and Kylotonn are inviting the online community to get involved with the creative process. Over the next few months, the team will be announcing a variety of different ways that the community can participate and help to shape the game.
