The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Details Emerge

By Brooker,
It's been almost a year since developer The Astronauts took to the stage at GamesCom in Germany and announced that The Vanishing of Ethan Carter would indeed be coming to the PlayStation 4. Today, the independent game makers have taken to the PlayStation Blog to share some stories on the weird and wonderful experiences they had during their time making the chilling first-person mystery. Studio founder Adrian Chmierlarz spent some time giving us a peek behind the studio's curtains and left us with some gorgeous artwork, a fresh new trailer and a release date.

A first-person, story driven mystery, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a slow-paced exploration game where, as detective Paul Prospero, you'll use your ability to communicate with the dead to try and discover the mysteries behind the ancient evil lurking in Red Creek Valley and maybe, hopefully, discover the secrets surrounding the disappearance of a young boy from the area.

A thirty-something year old gamer with a nasty habit of swearing off games and franchises until a week before release. Then pre-orders them anyway.

Also has delusions that one day, someone will take his writing about games or films seriously!
Sadly, that's unlikely. it took three attempts and an editor just to write this bio!
