One of the most intriguing aspects of Bandai Namco's upcoming Dragon Ball XenoVerse is the depth of characters that will be available from which players can choose. In fact, a quick look at the newslist for the game will reveal that there has been no shortage of character announcements, and today is no different. Two new characters have been officially added to the game's roster: Omega Shenron and Gogeta.
Now that you have two more characters from which to pick, how does a new game mode sound? Also revealed was the new Villainous Mode. In this game mode, Towa has transformed Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu among others into "Villainous" form, which provides an extra challenge to taking them down.
Do you still need even more Xenoverse news? The publisher announced that the game will have an as-yet-unpriced Season Pass that will include three packs, the early details of which are listed below:
DLC Pack 1 (Available in March 2015)
- 3 playable characters: GT Goku, Pan & GT Trunks
- 4 Time Patrol quests
- 12 Quests
- 15 Special Moves for the players’ avatars
- 5 costumes
DLC Pack 2
- Exclusive Playable Characters
- Quests
- Special moves
- Costumes
DLC Pack 3
- Turtle Hermit set
- Jaco the Space Patroller
- Highly exclusive content!
As if you weren't already overwhelmed with XenoVerse information, a trailer was released from this year's Jump Fest featuring a chat with the developers of the game. We also have even more screenshots to share.
