AC Unity Dead King's DLC Available Next Week

By Marc Caccamise,
In an attempt to soothe over feelings about the shaky launch of Assassins Creed Unity, Ubisoft has taken steps to provide free content to gamers to try and make up for it. This has included an offer of an entire free game for those who had already bought the Season Pass. For all gamers in general, Unity's first piece of downloadable content, "Dead Kings", will be free of charge and available to download next week.

The announcement of the DLC's arrival was accompanied by a new cinematic trailer to set the mood:

"Dead Kings" is a set of self-contained story missions that take place after the events of Unity. The DLC will contain additional side missions, and new weapons and gear, which can be transferred back to the main game. Creative Director Alex Amancio has described "Dead Kings" as the "darkest story that we've ever told."

"Dead Kings" will be available to download for free next week on January 13th in North America and January 14th in Europe.
