The Dreams trophies have been a hot topic for us as of late, with the servers scheduled to close on Friday, September 1, 2023. Were those Dreams trophies were not discontinued when the game came to PS Plus Essential earlier this month, it could have jumped straight on our best PS Plus games list. Thankfully, it appears the Dreams trophies have been fixed.

PS Plus Essential and Extra game sees its trophies fixed

Media Molecule had discussed keeping Dreams' trophies obtainable when the servers were closed and support of the game was ceased. This would be done by changing how certain trophies are unlocked and what levels you would need to access in order to earn the specified trophies. Sadly, when the game came to PS Plus, nobody was able to earn its platinum as some of the trophies hadn't been rectified ahead of the game's big debut.
The Dreams trophy that was discontinued and stopped players from being able to earn the platinum was called 'Pop all the Bubbles,' however, this looks to have been fixed up. As of writing this today, that specific trophy was last earned yesterday and the platinum trophy was earned less than 24 hours ago. Making it pretty clear that the Dreams trophy list is no longer discontinued.

There is no discernable difference to the trophy on the outside from what we can see and the trophy description and title remains the exact same. Our guess would be that you are notified of the change within the game itself and will be guided on how to earn the 'Pop all the Bubbles' trophy. For now, the only way to truly know is to jump on into Dreams and start earning the trophy yourself.
Now that everything appears to be fixed and working as intended, I may find myself gravitating toward Dreams soon. Though, a part of me is still dubious given the recent debacle, so maybe I will wait and see what happens after the support of the game ceases. With that all said, I definitely interested in Tren, the PS Plus bonus game that was nestled up within Dreams — it looks pretty darn cool.

What do you guys make of the Dreams trophies being fixed up? Happy that the platinum is no longer discontinued? Should we consider adding it to our best PS4 games list? Let us know all your thoughts in the comments below!
