Would you be satisfied if Square Enix added more Final Fantasy XVI trophies to its blockbuster PS5 RPG? Do you wish the game had more varied side content so we'd be forced to amend our Final Fantasy XVI review? Well, whatever it is you want, you better let Square Enix know via the Final Fantasy XVI DLC survey.

Square Enix survey wants PS5 player feedback on FFXVI

As spotted by PSU, the new Final Fantasy XVI survey has been uploaded to Square Enix Japan's website. It's currently only available in Japanese, but you can still answer the survey in English if you want — you just might need to use machine translations to find your way through the website first.
Speaking of machine translation, here's what the website says about the survey (via Google Translate): "For those who have purchased the action RPG "Final Fantasy XVI" released on Thursday, June 22, 2023, we are conducting a survey on the game content on the Square Enix Members website. The results of the questionnaire will be fed back to the development team and used to improve future development and services."

I've talked a little about my hopes for Final Fantasy XVI's DLC plans so far. Mainly, I hope that Square Enix skips right past making DLC for FFXVI, as well as any kind of Final Fantasy XVI sequel, and instead just start making FFXVIII. However, that's just my opinion — I like seeing completely new stuff and the sooner I get to play more of that, the happier I'll be.

Final Fantasy XVIMaybe someone could suggest an FF Tactics remake set in FFXVI's world?

You, on the other hand, might be far more interested in seeing some genuine improvements coming to Final Fantasy XVI in some regard. We've seen plenty of comments (that I happen to agree with) suggesting the game's side missions could stand for some improvement. Maybe if you get your thoughts out there to Square Enix, they might get the message and make those kinds of changes in the series going forward — maybe even in FFXVI's DLC. If enough people agree in their submissions, then you're sure to see something come of it.

In my eyes, Final Fantasy XVI is still one of the best PS5 games so far, and I long to see what's next — so that's what I'll write in about. What would you see Square Enix do with FFXVI, though? Would you focus on the game that just came out, or would you use the opportunity to ask about those Final Fantasy IX Remake rumors instead? Let us know down in the comments!
