If you managed to earn all of those A Plague Tale Requiem trophies and are still yearning for more, then you may be in luck. A Plague Tale 3 rumors have started to arise after new job listings were posted on the Asobo Studio website. Would you like to see our A Plague Tale trophy comparison expanded on further by a third game?

Asobo Studio could be hiring for A Plague Tale 3

Asobo Studio is hiring for the Plague Team and Microsoft Flight Sim team, according to new job listings revealed on the studio's website. The roles being recruited for in the Plague Team are senior AI programmer, senior game designer, VFX artist, and senior gameplay animator. Thanks to Google Translate we can see that within the senior game designer role, it specifically states that it wants them to strengthen the team behind Requiem for the pre-production phase of whatever the teams' next game may be — which feels like it is alluding to A Plague Tale 3.
The translated quote reads as follows: "For a future production, we are looking for a Game Designer to strengthen the team behind 'A Plague Tale: Requiem' from the pre-production phase.

Without spoiling too much, A Plague Tale Requiem doesn't feel like it will receive a direct follow-on sequel. The story along with all of the characters within look to have had their stories wrapped up with a nice little bow on top. So, if a third game is to be made, it is highly unlikely Amicia or Hugo will be at the center of it.

While A Plague Tale trilogy is not currently planned, Requiem's director Kevin Choteau said that "the door is never closed," and these job listing only look to prove it. Please take a grain of salt with you as Asobo is yet to make any announcements that A Plague Tale 3 is in the works or ever will be in the works.
I personally would love to see more from the world of A Plague Tale. Both games have been engaging and provided captivating stories, which is something I naturally gravitate towards. I feel like a modern twist on the rat-infested horror would be a really cool way to kick off a third game and could make for some unique and enthralling set pieces. Just imagine a sea of rats infesting cities like London, New York, or Rome — I would love to see that.

Would you like to see A Plague Tale 3 come to fruition? Did you enjoy A Plague Tale Requiem? Did you ever manage to earn its platinum trophy? Should we consider adding the game to our best PlayStation Horror games list? Let us know all your thoughts in the comments below!
