Prince of Persia The Lost Crown announced at Summer Game Fest

Announced at Summer Game Fest 2023, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown will release for PS5 and PS4 on Thursday, January 18, 2024. The trailer shows off a new band of characters called The Immortals who are setting out to rescue the Prince, who has apparently been kidnapped. Will our yet-to-be-announced protagonist fulfill his destiny and rescue the kingdom?

The trailer looks great with lots of fluid action, but many fans will surely be distracted by the absence of the previously announced The Sands of Time PS5 Remake. Last we heard, Prince of Persia The Sands of Time remake preorders were canceled, presumably because the title was getting more development time. Since then, it's been radio silence.
