Well, what a specific line of thinking — luckily, we are so glad to have an answer for you. CD Projekt has just unleashed the latest Cyberpunk 2077 DLC trailer with a September release date attached for PS5, so get ready to jump into one of the best PS5 games again!Cyberpunk 2077 — Phantom Liberty DLCCD Projekt gives us a new Phantom Liberty trailer and PS5 release dateLet's get the significant bits out of the way: Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC is coming to PS5 on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. The DLC will add a brand-new story to the main game and bring back some familiar characters alongside new ones like Idris Elba's gun-toting bad boy. CD Projekt has been kind enough to supply us with a trailer too!As you can see below, the trailer features none other than Idris Elba, lots of shooting, a bit of hacking, and plenty of Cyberpunk 2077 goodness. There is plenty of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand in there too as your character V descends into chip-induced psychosis. Your potential out from that miserable fate is an attempt to save the NUSA President while negotiating a tricky political situation. Reports are that the new DLC will include a massive new area called Dogtown, but it will also totally overhaul massive chunks of the game in a way that can only be accomplished by leaving PS4 behind. From skill trees and UI, to combat and Cyberware, to the enemy AI and vehicle combat — there's a lot of overhaul here. Cyberpunk 2077 has steadily been earning back its reputation after a shockingly poor PS4 launch, but on PS5 with a few updates, the game is purring. It remains to be seen if Cyberpunk 2077's icing on the cake will be Phantom Liberty, much like Blood & Wine was The Witcher 3's.So, Phantom Liberty DLC comes to Cyberpunk 2077 on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, on PS5, but not PS4. What did you think of the trailer? Are you going to be playing when it hits PS5? Let us know what's going on with you in the comments below!
