If the fates all align and this all comes to fruition, then we will have a new contender for our best fighting games list.Mortal Kombat 12 could be on the horizon, finally!Rumoured PlayStation Showcase may reveal Mortal Kombat 12With multiple sources overlapping with similar information — and at times the same information — it looks possible that Mortal Kombat 12 may be revealed soon. Jeff Grubb kicks us off on his Twitch channel by stating that we should expect a PlayStation Showcase in May 2023, or more specifically, we should expect a PlayStation Showcase before Summer Games Fest commences. Grubb, doesn't mention any potential game reveals, however.Nick Shpeshal, the co-host of the XboxEra Podcast, stated that he has heard that Mortal Kombat 12 will be announced at the alleged upcoming PlayStation Showcase event. Cordon responded to a tweet from Maximilian Dood — a YouTuber and fighting game enthusiast — who had tweeted that they hoped that MK12 would have the same speedy decision-making as MK9. Cordon cheekily replied by saying: "I think you'll find out more next month."The last piece of information that wraps all of this together with a pretty little bow is that the official Mortal Kombat website has recently seen an update and overhaul, hinting that it could be gearing up for a big announcement.
