However, it left several trophies broken until the latest fixes. The God of War Ragnarok trophies were broken by the recent New Game Plus patch when playing on a new run. However, the broken trophies have been fixed with a new update, making your time through this superb game platinum worthy again — just as we found it in our God of War Ragnarok review. God of War Ragnarok trophies have been fixed for NG+No new God of War Ragnarok trophies, but the old ones are fixedIt's one of the best PS5 games out there, but developers Santa Monica Studios are clearly trying to keep it that way. A recent patch added a comprehensive New Game Plus mode, which has now been followed by an update to the game that brings fixes to any inadvertent issue that NG+ may have caused.Included in the patch notes are details about the following trophies: Ready for Commitment, Dragon Slayer, Phalanx. All three revolve around armour slots, so Studio Santa Monica has included: "If you receive the armor from the Lost Items Chest in the shop, you will need to restart or reload your game to get the trophy." This will apply retroactively for players who unlocked the trophies in NG+.Kratos is ready for his trophiesIndeed, this is pretty great news for those of you that haven't yet platinumed the game and want to eran the end-game trophies on a new run. Though, if we are being greedy, it would've been nice to get some proper NG+ trophies. There has been more than enough content added to justify them beyond finishing the game again. We have new armour upgrades and upgrade paths, new burdens to make the game harder, and a black-and-white rendering effect. Mind you, a burden-related trophy would probably drive us up the wall...In any case, plenty of folks have seen the epilogue and are probably keen to move onto the next game. Will this affect you?
