By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,

Easter time has come, bringing chocolate, eggs, rabbits, and sunshine. More importantly, you have a few extra days to play these fun PS5 games!

The best PS5 games are full of fantastic titles suitable for you to play on any given day. However, this is Easter! So we have lined up five PS5 games we think are perfect for the long Easter weekend this year — and what a list of the best PlayStation games Kes and Sean have to choose from!

Best Easter games for PS5 — what will you play?Best Easter games for PS5, including Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered — what will you play?

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch

The Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered trophies are pretty brutal thanks to a few collectable based trophies that turn this whimsical and epic adventure into something of a grindy nightmare. Thankfully the game is so darn charming that you hopefully will be able to look past this and enjoy yourself. With a story that'll make you tear up, a wonderful Pokémon-inspired system, and a grand world to explore, this JRPG really has the adventurous spirit of an Easer Egg hunt!

Now, you may be asking: why is this game good for Easter outside of its hunting and collecting elements? Well, silly, there are so many reasons. An abundance of reasons, actually. It seems needless to point them out, really. Just know that this game is perfect for Easter and you should dive back into it and earn that platinum if you are yet to do so. Or if you are one of the lucky ones who will get to experience this game for the first time, Easter is the perfect time of year to do just that. We assure you that you'll not be disappointed with this vibrant and fantastic game.

Cult of the Lamb free updateCult of the Lamb is a great PS5 Easter game

Cult of the Lamb

Nothing gives off Easter vibes for us here in the UK, more specifically Wales, than the lambing season. So what if your little lamb built a cult to take revenge against some eldritch gods? Grabbing those Cult of the Lamb trophies is a fantastic 15-hour ride where you'll trawl procedurally generated dungeons, defeat bosses, and build your home base into a cult. Pick and choose the cult leader you want to be as you perform ritual sacrifices or hippy-dippy stuff, and you'll find yourself obsessed in no time. Plus, there is a lot of farming — growing and bringing those Spring feelings to life is exactly what Easter is all about!

We absolutely loved our time collecting the Flower trophies here on TrueTrophies. It's maybe the most relaxing game ever constructed, which isn't a surprise given that Journey developers thatgamecompany made this flower-power voyage for PS4 (playable on PS5). Playing as a flower petal, you'll float through the skies using the motion sensors in the DualSense controller to move around. Slowly, you'll collect more and more petals in your chain, helping create an ever-more natural environment against the impending hell of concrete cities.

With Easter truly breaking in the Spring season in the northern hemisphere, the flowers start blooming and getting outside becomes a real highlight of every day. So, why not take the outside inside with Flower this weekend? It's snappy and short while remaining inventive and a little unlike anything else you'll have ever played. A fantastically natural selection of this list!

TchiaTchia is on PS Plus Extra right now for PS5!

The Tchia trophies are a dream come true for those of you who love to search every nook and cranny for collectables and secrets — maybe a nightmare for those who don't. With that all in mind, we had a fabulous time in our Tchia review and with Easter just around the corner, Tchia feels like the perfect game to play for this festive period.

Reflecting on the collectables within the game, you can view them as a sort of Easter Egg hunt and make it a goal to try and find and clean up all the various pearls, costumes, and more to snatch up a new platinum trophy — an Easter present to yourself. If you need more convincing, you can turn into a chicken and lay a few explosive eggs, which adds a bit more Easter festivity to the game.

chicoryChicory is one of the best indies on PS5!

Chicory A Colorful Tale

Some things in this world truly spark joy, and spending time with a children's painting game with a mind-blowing soundtrack is one of them. If you choose to go for the Chicory A Colorful Tale trophies this Easter, you'll unlock that pure joy. The game's on PS Plus Extra, so you needn't worry about buying it. It's full of charm and painting the world to bring it to life is, honestly, one of the most pleasant things we've ever done. You can find out more in Heidi's Chicory A Colorful Tale review. It's a perfect Easter game to bring up the spirits just like an egg decoring session, so off you go and start playing, beating bosses to magnificent beats, and painting!
