PS Plus Extra is set to add new games on March 21st, 2023, half of which were previously on Microsoft's competing Xbox Game Pass service. The new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for March 2023 have been revealed, and with first-party games like Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection on the way, the list of the best PS Plus games is set to keep on climbing. That said, at least half of Sony's attention seems to be on the competition, because 50% of the March PS Plus Extra games were available first on Xbox Game Pass. Two of the games, Rainbow Six and Immortals, continue to show Sony's strong relationship with Ubisoft and were featured in our predictions for upcoming 2023 PS Plus Extra and Premium games. One curious addition is Bethesda Softworks' Rage 2, the rights to which should now be exclusive to Microsoft. We have seen Microsoft offer up a first-party Bethesda title to PS Plus Extra before — The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim joined Extra back in November 2022. Technically, you could also say the same for GhostWire Tokyo and its upcoming free PS5 DLC, which is another Bethesda game set to join PS Plus Extra this month. That said, GhostWire is also joining Xbox Game Pass next month, so it's not like Microsoft loses out much in these Bethesda loans to PS Plus. Still, it's interesting how much interplay between the PS Plus and Game Pass happens each month — perhaps the pool of notable third-party games is simply rather low, and everybody's got to share. PS Plus Extra players are still getting it good with first-party games this month if our Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection review is any indication. And we're sure Tchia will be an instant favourite once it arrives day-one to Sony's service. In the meantime, let us know what your thoughts are on these seven games in the comments below.
