Tekken 8 brings a violent rainstorm to PS5 in latest trailer

Bandai Namco is keeping us hyped up and surging with adrenaline with a set of new breathtaking PS5 gameplay trailers for Tekken 8.

While we impatiently wait for the Tekken 8 trophies to drop, we can at least marvel at the two most recent Tekken 8 gameplay trailers for PS5. The trailers highlight the two central figures of the upcoming Tekken 8 story, Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. The combat, scenery, costumes, and ferociousness of the fight all look impeccable and have got us ready to face our next challenger.

While the attention has mostly been on Jin, Kazuya, and Nina, we do have a detailed Tekken 8 characters guide that shows off who else we can expect to see more of in the future. Getting back to the trailer, we got to see more of the powerhouse combat that shot adrenaline down our spine as well as one of the arenas we will be fighting in, and boy does it look stunning.

While the location is essentially just in the middle of a busy street, the details really pop. You've got the neon signs that reflect off the murky puddles on the ground, detailed buildings, and bystanders in shock as they witness a man transform into a literal devil and then pummel his foes into the ground — not a single detail looks to have been overlooked here. All of this just helps bring that extra flare and make the game world feel more alive.

The combat looks exactly like you would expect it to — or hope it would — following on from Tekken 7, one of the best PS4 games. We can see a few new mechanics have been implemented to keep it all feeling fresh. The animations look slick, the details are on point, and combat looks devilishly satisfying. Both Kazuya and Jin appear to have most of their iconic moves still in play, as well as a few new ones we will enjoy experimenting with. All in all, the combat looks fantastic and we can't wait to see how it feels when the game finally launches!
